"Fawley Lodge has been the spiritual home of foot problems for more years than I care to remember. I well remember when Bob Williams first moved into the house next door from where he operated on the ground floor to subsequently having purpose built surgery next door. Throughout that time the service and care he offered the people of Reading was second to none and he was in many ways a pioneer in the art of Podiatry in the early days. I like many other people were concerned when he retired as to what was going to happen to my poor feet thereafter, fortunately an angelic shining light appeared from Surrey in the guise of yourself and I would have no hesitation in saying that you have stepped into those very large shoes of Bob’s in a very good and exciting way. You fulfil and demonstrate all the best points of anyone working within the medical profession with great care, skill and thoroughness and I’m sure I speak on behalf of all of your patients here in Reading that we are so lucky to have you and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending you and your skills to others which as you know I have done to date and will continue to do so. It is great pleasure to have you looking after my ten twinkleys and I am fortunate to have someone so kind and caring to look after them. Long may you reign in Fawley Lodge."

"I recently had part of my big toenail removed by Valerie and can honestly say that from first consultation, through the procedure itself and the follow up consultations she was absolutely brilliant. She talked everything through and was a true caring professional. I have no hesitation in recommending her."
Mrs S., November 2017
"I'm writing on behalf of my sister who had an appointment with Valerie Scott the podiatrist, on 2nd May 2017. We would like to praise Valerie on her warm, friendly and professional care. For many years my sister has suffered with bad calluses and was very nervous about attending a podiatry clinic. I finally persuaded her to make an appointment with Valerie and I was so glad I did. It was a birthday gift for her and she has told me it was the best present she's had. It was great to see my sister walking pain free. She has booked another appointment and will continue to do so. I've also referred my friend's mum to see Valerie. Thank you so much."
Mrs Y., June 2017
"(Re: Ingrowing toenail) I'd struggled with the pain in my toe for months just hoping it would go away. The pain was stopping me from running (which is a huge part of me) and was even making it difficult for me to take me kids for walks. After an initial assessment, Val carried out a quick and painless nail operation which has made the world of difference. I'm now back running again, training for my next big race, and getting on with life as normal without any toe pains!"
Mr H., April 2017
"Valerie Scott is professional and accommodating for my particular needs as a patient."
Mrs V., January 2017

"It makes walking a joy after I've seen you."

"I was very pleased with my visit to see Valerie. Now I don't have a corn in my little toe (after at least 30 years)"
Mr K., June 2015
"My feet haven't felt this good in years."
Miss H., April 2015
"Following unsuccessful surgery for an ingrowing toenail last year and a further year of pain, I went to a different podiatrist, Valerie at Undeniably Podiatry, to discuss the situation and opted for the surgery again. She explained the possible outcomes of the surgery but felt optimistic that it would be successful and went ahead with it. The procedure seemed to go very smoothly and I was happy that the bit of nail that was causing the trouble had been removed this time. The toe healed well. I found Valerie very professional but also gentle and charming and would happily recommend her to anyone."
Ms H., March 2015
"Since visiting Valerie my feet have been so good, like walking on air."
Mrs. T., March 2015
"I have been a long-distance runner for several years. During this time I lost a toenail which never grew back properly. It had been a source of discomfort during and after runs. After much consideration, I decided to look into complete removal of the toenail to hopefully eliminate the issue. As I had an ultra-marathon booked for May 2015, I could only consider treatment in early January to minimise any impact on my training. This is the primary reason why I considered a private treatment. I met Valerie for a consultation in late December to discuss the situation and was made to feel comfortable about the whole procedure. We agreed to go ahead with the operation in early January & Valerie even scheduled it for a Saturday morning to limit the impact on my work appointments. All went ahead smoothly on the day. I was given clear advice on the management of my "new toe" and subsequently revisited Valerie for 2 checkups. To give my toe the best chance to heal, I decided to refrain from running for 4 weeks. Everything progressed as expected during this time-frame. Within 2 weeks of resuming my running, I was up to full mileage and the discomfort I had previously endured was virtually non-existent. Based on this, I can say the operation was a big success. It took me a number of years to buck up the courage to seriously consider this operation, but I was very impressed by the professionalism and care shown by Valerie during the whole process (consultation, operation and aftercare). I would wholeheartedly recommend Valerie to anyone considering a similar procedure"
Mr. C., March 2015
"After years of attending this clinic, Valerie has managed to find a solution to an interminable problem of arthritic hammer toes getting a painful callus on the tip. A solution relatively simple that seems to work and I can now walk much better after 25 years."
Mr. W., February 2015
"Since Valerie has been treating my feet, the longstanding problems with the ball of my right foot have disappeared. I am very happy with the service received."
Mr. D., February 2015
"Valerie provides an excellent, first-class professional service! I've been suffering with terrible heel pain for some time following a sports injury, but Valerie knew just what it was and how to help me. I have the most amazing pair of orthotics now which even in just one week, have made all the difference and I can even exercise again, pain-free, whilst I'm healing. Thanks Valerie"
